Tee Times

Mountain Vista reserves tee times for league play.  The goal is to fill each tee time with a foursome when possible.

You will have the same tee time every week.  You are encouraged to find three others to play with.  If not, you will be included in a foursome at the closet tee time available to your time preference.

With tee times reserved for league play, your commitment to play as much as possible is greatly appreciated.  When you are not able to attend, please arrange for a substitute to play in your place.

Tee times will be open for league from 3:30 – 5:30.

Weather Conditions

The Mountain Vista staff determines whether or not to cancel league play due to bad weather.  Always operate on the assumption that we will play, even it is raining, etc. where you are.  If you are present and the play is called off, there is still the opportunity to gather and enjoy great social time together!

If league play is cancelled early enough, it will be posted on the Mountain Vista website by 1:00 pm that day.

Weekly Games

There are weekly games that are either team based or individual competition.  In the event of a tie, it will be broken by a card off.

Points Competition

Points are awarded weekly are will be based on your gross/net score.

  • Earn 10 points for showing up to play
  • Earn 1 point for each person you score better than
  • Earn 1 point for each person you tie
  • Earn 5 points for finding a sub to play for you

Handicaps will be determined by your league play and tracked in the league software.

Speed of Play

Speed of play can be a real concern!  This is an issue not only for the efficient operation of the course itself, but also to participating members.  Players are asked to make every effort to play Ready Golf.  Keep up with the group ahead of you!

Any players that reaches a double par score and has not yet holed out, pick up the ball and score a double par on the scorecard for that hole.  There should be no scores over a double par on any scorecard.

A nine hole round should be completed in approximately 2 1/4 hours.
